Crumbs! A Free McVitie’s Chocolate Digestive Experience Is Coming To London

Psst! Did you know London has its own biscuit museum?

The McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives Experience is in town from 2-5 May.

McVitie’s invented the chocolate digestive biscuit in 1925, meaning we’ve now been dunking them in our tea for an entire century.

While the McVitie’s factory in northwest London which knocks out 180 tonnes of the chocolate-coated treats every day, is sadly off-limits to the public, a free Piccadilly Circus pop-up will invite Londoners to celebrate the centenary of the blockbuster biscuit which sells 70 million packets a year.

See artwork inspired by (and made from) chocolate digestives.

The McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives Experience — which is on from Friday 2-Monday 5 May 2025 — features an immersive walk-through timeline of the biscuit-making company, artwork inspired by (and made from) biscuits, a ‘Biscuit Bar’ serving special chocolate digestives creations — plus the chance to win exclusive McVitie’s merch.

Whether they’ll be serving up steaming cups of tea at a special dunking station, remains to be seen.

McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives Experience, Below the Lights, 44-48 Regent Street, Friday 2-Monday 5 May 2025, 11am-7pm, free, no booking required.
